How Can You Be Involved?

There are many ways you can get involved with both the planning and delivery of programs at Moreland Community Health Service. These include:

Become a member of the Board of Management (BOM)

The Board of Management are responsible for monitoring the performance and management at Moreland Community Health Service (MCHS). Board minutes are published on our website. For more information, contact the CEO on (03) 9387 6711.

Register to become a member of MCHS

Membership is free and open to all members of the community above 18 years of age. Membership enables you to vote at the Annual General Meeting and provide input into the strategic plan. Download the membership form.

Take part in Client Satisfaction Surveys

Client Satisfaction Surveys are conducted in each service unit every three years. They are completed by clients in the form of a questionnaire. The information gathered is used in service planning and delivery.

Join the Carer Consultative Committee

The goal of this committee is to give voice to the needs and issues of carers living within in the Northern Metropolitan sub-region of Melbourne. For more information contact Fiona Shepherdley from the Commonwealth Respite & Carelink Centre / CarerLinks North on (03) 9495 2511.

Attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM)

This event is advertised in the local paper, flyers, the MCHS website and reception areas of all sites. All MCHS members are sent an invitation.

Tell us your thoughts and suggestions

We invite your thoughts and suggestions for improvements to the service through the Feedback and Complaints process. The best way to do this is by completing a Feedback and Complaints form (pdf, 30kb), which is can be returned via box in the reception area of each site or mailed in to the relevant location. You can also submit feedback via the website feedback form.

Take part in evaluations

Evaluations and discussion groups are often run for programs and activities within the service.
